What I have up for sale is a 1990 (G) Volkswagen T25 Camper. It has been converted by DEVON and it also has a high roof conversion. It sleeps 2 adults comfortably on the rock n roll double bed. The upstairs can be finished off to accommodate 2 child berths if needed. The van has covered 130,000 miles but the engine and clutch were replaced at 116,000, at a cost of £1400 (Receipt). The engine is a 1.7 water cooled diesel. Unlike the Type 2s, this does have a heater blower and it's good! The gearbox is a 4 speed manual and on a run, it averages at 30 to 35 mpg. The inside to this van is very clean and tidy. The equipment includes a sink, on-board water carrier, 2 way fridge, cooker/grille, wardrobe, table, 240v electrics, leisure battery, split charger and additional 12v interior lighting. I am throwing in a free standing awning, 2 fold up camoing chairs, fold up camping table and a dual voltage tv/video combi. Not bad, eh? The van has proved ultra reliable. First time on the key and can be left for a few days, knowing that it will start. Good tyres all around. MOTd to September 2004. Taxed to December 2004. I have put in a Kenwood stereo and speaker system as well. So those long trips to the coast will pass by even sweeter. The bodywork could do with a little TLC. This van is no rot box.
