CampersCard: A New Way to Save at Campgrounds

Last Updated on April 4, 2023 by Jess

Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome have changed the way and where many campers travel with their RVs. If you like these services, you’ll be interested in the CampersCard. This in-progress card could be the camping membership you’ve been waiting for.

What’s this new way to save at campgrounds, and is it something for you? Let’s find out!

What is the CampersCard?

CampersCard is a discount membership for campsites that benefits both campers and campsites.

Unfortunately, the membership is currently still in the start-up phase. The company hopes to sign up at least 1,000 campsites by the 2023 camping season.

Campgrounds can sign up for the program, or individuals can submit contact information to recommend a campground. If you know of a campground that you would like to be included in the program, contact CampersCard.

Who is the owner of the CampersCard?

The same people who brought Harvest Hosts to the RV community and who own Boondockers Welcome are working hard to develop this new program. If past successes are any indication of what we can expect from CampersCard, it will be good.

Joel Holland, CEO of Harvest Hosts, has recognized the need for such a program. In a recent press release, he said, “Like our members, I spend most nights on the road at traditional campgrounds and wanted to develop a product specifically designed to support those locations! The team at Harvest Hosts is excited to bring this product to market and increase awareness of campgrounds.”

We will be patiently waiting for Holland and his team to engage the campgrounds and fine tune the program. However, it would be nice to see another addition to the Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome family.

What are the benefits for CampersCard members?

An official list of member benefits has not yet been released. However, the program’s website states that future members can expect discounted rates, early check-in and late check-out. In addition, the website mentions the possibility of discounted amenities.

While an app hasn’t been mentioned yet, Harvest Host and Boondockers Welcome have easy-to-use apps for iOS and Android devices. It would make sense for CampersCard to adopt this technology for its members. Who wouldn’t want an easy way to find discounted campsites near them?

Since the membership program is currently focused primarily on campgrounds, not much is being said about the benefits for campers. However, we will keep you posted as Holland and his team bring this program to life.

What are the benefits for CampersCard campsites?

Campgrounds are currently the main target of CampersCard. Even though campgrounds have experienced a tremendous boom in recent years, it probably won’t last forever.

CampersCard offers some benefits that can help campgrounds prepare for future fluctuations in occupancy. Let’s take a look!

Free presence with 800k+ campers

What company would jump at the opportunity to get free exposure to 800,000+ customers – a company that wants to stay in business!

Campgrounds that join the program are immediately noticed by the many campers who trust the Harvest Hosts brand.

The program promises to list approved campgrounds in various locations. They don’t reveal how they’re going about it, but it will likely be on a website, mobile app, and possibly social media.

Customizable discounts and perks for campgrounds.

With the CampersCard program, campgrounds have full control over all the discounts and perks they offer.

This allows campgrounds to be more generous during the off-season or during the week to attract potential customers.

They may even tailor their discounts to local events or festivals in their area.

No fees

There are many services that make big promises and come with big price tags. That’s not the case with CampersCard. It is 100% free for all campsites that sign up for the program.

However, members who are looking for a campground must pay an annual fee.

No contracts

There’s nothing worse than being tied down to a long and expensive contract. Fortunately, CampersCard is another thing campgrounds don’t have to worry about.

If campgrounds feel the service is not worth their time and effort, they can easily opt out of the program.

Easy account setup

Any campground that wants to participate in the program can do so easily. Enter your information on the CampersCard website to start the process. Once your data has been processed, you will be contacted to complete the setup process and get the program up and running.

If you have any questions, a dedicated support staff will be available to help you with any issues. Since the staff wants to help you and your business succeed, they will make every effort to answer any questions and address any concerns.

Will you become a CampersCard member?

If we know Joel Holland, we know that he is not satisfied with mediocrity. The programs he has created are of high quality and run on efficiency.

We are excited about the potential of this new membership program and what it will offer the RV community. We can’t wait to try it out and see the many places we can save money on our future adventures.

We’ll keep you posted as the program goes live and how it benefits the RV community. Are you considering a CampersCard membership?
