Motorhomes are a great blend of comfort and convenience, but many of them are designed to be used by larger families. A big priority is given to sleeping space and sometimes the kitchen, bathroom and living rooms get a blow as a result. If you’re looking for mini motorhomes that are perfect for couples, there are still plenty of options for you.
Motorhomes come in many shapes, sizes and designs. The three main types are Class A, Class B, and Class C. We’ll discuss the differences below, but we’ll only cover Class B and C campers in this guide; Class A models are generally too large to be called mini-motorhomes.

Class B Mini Motorhomes
Almost any class B camper will work well for couples. These vehicles are also called motorhomes and they are the smallest motorhomes that you will usually find on the market. They have the shape and size of large vans, but instead of rows of seats, they are equipped with a compact living space. Slide-outs are usually not an option with this type of camper, so what you see is what you get (in terms of space).
Class B motorhomes are great for adventurous couples because you can take them almost anywhere. You don’t have to worry about squeezing corners or finding a parking space that fits. Wherever you can take a car, you can take a camper. Most of these RVs will be great for couples, but there are a few designs that stand out from the crowd.
Winnebago Revel

The Revel is widely regarded as one of the best class B motorhomes on the market today. It makes great use of space and provides all the necessities travelers need. There is only one floor plan for the Revel, but it works well for individuals or couples.
At the very back of this camper is occupied by a large bed with an acceleration garage space underneath. This is a great mix of comfort and utility. Windows surround the bed on two sides, so you can get plenty of natural light if you want to.
A small wet bath sits across the hall of the kitchen. Both spaces are compact but effective. The kitchen is equipped with a utility room, sink, induction hob, refrigerator, counter extension and some storage space above the head. Passengers can relax and enjoy their meal on the double sofa and table. These pieces of furniture are located directly behind the driver’s seats.
Arriva V24

The Arriva V24 is another popular model in the world of mini motorhomes and offers a little more space compared to the Revel. One of the best features of this camper is the fact that it has a dry bath! This is a rarity for class B motorhomes. The back of the V24 floor plan is occupied by the dry bath. It contains a toilet, sink, shower, wardrobe and a small storage cupboard above the sink.
The bedroom is just outside the bathroom. This includes a pair of twin beds that can be converted into a king-size single bed. A TV is also mounted on a wall in the bedroom, so couples can relax and watch their favorite shows in bed.
The kitchen and dining area are behind the driver’s seat. The kitchen appliances cover both walls and include a utility room, refrigerator, microwave, sink, two-burner stove and a storage cupboard. Also included is a fold-out table, which helps provide extra space on the countertop or just a nice place to sit and eat.
Class C Mini Motorhomes
Class C campers are what most people imagine when they hear the word “camper”. These are built on the chassis of a truck or van and they are generally a bit boxy. There is an overhanging area that extends across the driver’s cab, and this usually includes an extra bed or some storage space.
Slide-outs are more common in class C motorhomes and they can get a little more inventive and flexible with their designs. These motorhomes are often used by families, but there are some models that are made with couples and solo travelers in mind. These RVs are also a bit larger than Class B vehicles, but there are still plenty of options you could call mini campers.
Jayco Melbourne 24K

Jayco is a big name in the RV world and they have delivered a great camper for couples with the Jayco Melbourne 24K. This floor plan contains two extendable parts to expand the space so that there is a good amount of open space.
At the rear of this floor plan is the bedroom. The queen-size bed is in a pull-out room, so the room doesn’t feel cramped. Many closet and storage spaces are also included in the bedroom.
A dry bath sits against a wall in the hallway outside the bedroom. It is simple and contains only a toilet, shower and sink. A full kitchen setup, complete with overhead storage, takes up the opposite wall of this camper. All the devices you need are included, as well as a flip-up counter.
A stand-style dinette is located in an extendable space in the main living space. This frees up the living room and provides extra space for passengers to move around or add furniture of their choice. Overall, this design is perfect for couples who love mini-campers but don’t want to sacrifice the comforts of home.
Forest River Sunseeker MBS 2400B used Tractor

The Sunseeker MBS 2400B from Forest River is another great class C camper to keep in mind. It’s about the same size as the Melbourne, but their layouts are very different. The back of this camper is divided between the bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom is flat against one wall and contains a decent vanity, a toilet, a storage cupboard and a shower.
The queen bed is located in a large pull-out room that covers most of the right side of this floor plan. The rest of the slide-out is occupied by a U-shaped dinette and a storage area. This dinette overlooks the kitchen, which includes a 10 cubic foot refrigerator, sink, microwave, stove, and folding counter.
